Oye Sunday 31 January 2021:

Governor Dave Umahi and Professor George Obiozor, what are both of you doing about Igbo security? We put both of you up there to look out for us! We have neither heard nor seen any moves you are making to secure our land against President Muhammadu Buhari’s frontiers herdsmen. Your moves so far are frightening to us.

Mr. Dave Umahi, as the head of our Governors’ Forum, your moves are most frightening and uncomfortable to us. Rather than organize your fellow governors to organize your constituencies to secure our lives, livelihoods, and homeland against Fulani head hunters, you are obsessed with your political career.

You may secure your political career from President Buhari and his APC coterie, but you will not secure any more elected political career from us.

Even if APC nominates you as it’s flagbearer or running mate for the 2023 presidential election, the efforts you put in today toward our safety shall determine whether we vote for you or not.

Professor George Obiozor, it is almost three weeks now since you became the President-General of the Oranaeze Ndi Igbo, yet we have not heard or seen shishi from you. As a veteran public servant who is all too familiar with getting to work from day one, why do you approach your ethnic ambassadorship differently?

Why have you not started mobilizing your good office to harness Igbo power and veto against our detractors, antagonists, and rivals.

Professor, you are not up there to work with President Buhari and his henchmen; you are not even up there to help our neighbors ‘build’ Nigeria; you are up there with our mandate to ensure that we are second to none in whatever goes on.

And going by the history of President Buhari, we will be very uncomfortable to see you agreeing with him, or transmitting his agenda to us.

Governor David Umahi and Professor George Obiozor, man up! We have our ancestral land, and our women and children to protect from Fulanis who disembowelled our expectant mothers and slashed the throats of our fetuses before the war.
